Clint. John Wayne could only act the one way
Clint would see him 'get off his horse'. Clint would look at the ground, spit his cigar out, and look up. cue dramatic music.
Mr Wayne would say something like 'you go to hell, stranger' (in JW accent). Clint would say 'yup' (palerider accent). cue timepiece music
....this takes 5 minutes of camera shots of each other........
John Wayne goes for his gun. bang. bang. bang. Clint was the faster draw and if JW got a bullet away it would of hit that metal plate anyway!

John Wayne hated the way Clint Eastwood portrayed the cowboy. Also Clint Eastwood is really a soft spoken guy, with a gentle nature. In an argument John Wayne would get the first punch in and he would put a lot of power behind it. So I think the Duke would win in a fight.

as much as I like clint eastwood I would say John wayne. Cause he doesnt have feelings. Clint has compassion. John wayne would mudder a curse word and just drop him. Hes not dumb enough to lower his gun if clint had a gun within a 5 foot radious. But eastwood would win in a an old fashion standoof. he is the quickest gun in the west.
