I wrote aq poem on my geocities web page, but the search engines don't list it, how do I get it out there?

If your geocities page is already listed on the search engines, give it time, the spiders that find new pages go out to some more slowly than to other sites.

If your site isn't listed at all however, you should submit it to the main search engines (yahoo has a submit link from their main page, google just requires that you are listed on www.dmoz.org, which has a submit link on its page).
