I studied medical transcription, years ago. I'm just now considering trying to do this at home. Does anyone know if I would have to buy my own transcription equipment or how it works? Any info from someone already in this field would be highly appreciated!

yes you have to buy all this specail equipment. My mom was going to do that. She got two weeks into the class then they said you have to buy all this special equipment. If you have the money, then go right ahead, but if you don't, I wouldn't advise it.
