Corvette.... vipers handling are garbage...

Depends on the versions and what they'll be used for, and what the drivers goals are. For price for performance hands down it would be the Z06 corvette. Other than that it's a choice of how much you want to spend. I would stay away from a base model corvette, unless all you plan do to is cruise and like the vette. If you decide on a viper look into the ACR versions, these handle much better than base vipers do, they also have better braking. In head to head a Z06 is pretty much equal with an acr viper, with differences being in the tenths of seconds.
Above all else if you are looking at buying any car take some for a test drive.

Corvette, sure Dodge Vipers are really sweet and all but they lack the classic fealing.....you dont get into a Viper and say, such a history....but a corvette you just know that this kick @ss car has been around for a reason and will always be around as long as gasoline does

Here is a good reference to go by. Check out www.cindilux.com to see what we race and drive daily. Cindi has driven both the Viper and Vette in racing and street, and can really set you straight on which one is the best. If you go to her web site, email her and ask her thoughts. I know the vette is a nice vehicle for the average person on the street, and the Viper is incredible on track and dry street, but in the wet, the vette is a more gentle ride.

Corvette baby!!!! Never will buy another Dodge Again!!! Had a dodge car for 3 years and had to get a new trans and needed new head gaskets! Oh, Oh, Oh and another thing, it rained real bad and the rain leaked through the trunk/tail lights and flooded the trunk and the back seat floors!!! And yes, the trunk was closed! lol... It was just a piece of bleep bleep bleep car!

Can you even compare the two? Vettes are nice, but they've got nothing on Vipers. More sport, more kick, and just a better model, no matter the year.

hennessee viper or lingenfelter corvette, it doesnt matter to me, if they were stock then the corvette Z06
