What did you think of Superman?

I saw that movie last night and I didn't think it was as good as advertised. I think the plane part was great, but that was about it. The plot and the characters were wack. What did you think about the movie and do you think there will be another movie?

There was alot of BOOM BOOM KRASH BAM ZAPOOOO special effects. The plot was lacking and it was more like a 30 minute episode streatched out into a long special effects look-what-we-can-do film. I wasn't happy with how it was resolved. A cop out. I had no expectations. i wasn't upset and there could be anothe sequal, but the Spiderman films were much better developed. The best part was the opening sequence when they played the superman music and introduced the cast names.

Brandon Routh played a great Superman and reminded me a lot of Christopher Reeves

Kevin Spacey played a better Lex Luthor than Gene Hackman.

Kate Bosworth was not a very good Lois Lane I thought Margot Kidder played her better.

all in all I thought the movie was very good. I thought Kevin played Lex much more ruthless like he is in the comic books.

I thought that it was very funny and would go see it again just for some of the lines. Lex Luthor was pretty good, but superman had absolutly no personality or depth at all.
If they tried to do a movie with superman's kid, i bet it would be really dumb and the movie would flop.
It wasn't the best movie, but it was funny.

yes i think they will be a superman 2. because when it ends superman has a kid. i think if they make a superman 2 superman will be showing his kid some things.and his kid will go along his dad.
