As liberalism wanes, watch america go down to a lower rung on the superpower ladder.

Roll on China, the next big Liberal Superpower when the middle class guys finally win the political battle against the Conservative communists.

Yes it is, but that is Classical Liberalism which is closer to the beliefs of modern Conservatives. Modern "Liberalism" is tyrannical and autocratic. It seeks to limit what people can think, do, and where they can go. It uses the environment, the poor, and the uneducated to attain power then ignores or discards them if they begin to question their nanny-state masters.

China will not evolve into a Classical Liberal society without a major political upheaval, something that it's tyrants have learned to squash by observing the collapse of the USSR and the ways leftists have curbed our freedoms in the USA.

China's government is very far from liberal.

They aren't Communist, either. There isn't a true Communist-led country on the planet.

Ideology doesn't determine "superpower" status. Economics and military might do.

Yer probably right, if it were up to conservatives, we would still be hunting witches and teaching that all other religions besides Christianity were evil and must be converted, much like the Islamics, we would probably have a theocracy dictatorship.

"conservative communists"... that's hilarious!!!! What in the hell has liberalism done for our country? NOTHING!!! Absolutely nothing- it's tried to turn us into Socialists, but thank the Lord the conservative majority hasn't allowed that to happen.
