I just had a miscarriage on Tuesday. I am still having cramping pains, how long will they last? Am I supposed to still be having this pain? Also I feel nauseated and cannot eat.

Are you sure that you are having a complete miscarraige?? there have been cases where a woman can miscarry 1 twin and not the other, or you could have retained some tissue that would require a D&C. please check with your doctor if this doesn't resolve in the next couple of days and request an ultrasound to rule out retained tissue... Also if you have very heavy bleeding, severe clotts, or an odor, go to the nearest emergency room.. Sorry to hear of the loss of your baby.

I have had 3 miscarriages. My first and 3rd mc felt like a really bad period for about a week. The 2nd mc was in my 2nd trimester, so I passed huge clots and had to have a D&C. The pregnancy hormones will still be in your body for a little while. That could be why you feel nauseas.

I too have had 5 miscarriages
1 blighted ovum
1 stillborn
3 losses at 6-9 weeks
I'm so sorry, you didn't mention how far along you were, that will depend on how long it takes to recover and how they treated your m/c with medication or D&C or what. If you need or wanna talk to someone who understands and knows what you are going through email me at ellas_heaven@yahoo.com-this was the name of my stillborn daughter I lost 3 months ago. God bless and good luck

I have had two miscarriages. If you can't eat, you should notify your doctor.

The cramping lasted about a week for me...and I felt really weak for another two weeks after that.

Call your doctor and tell him/her about the nausea.

It will continue for up to 10 days and will be like the heaviest, crampiest period you've ever had. My condolences.
