Weight Watchers, they have a super plan. I'm on it right now.

It is $12 a week. It basically gives you a budget of points to eat every day, and assigns a point value to all foods and also gives you a calculator to figure out points for your self.

You don't have to buy any special foods; you have the choice to eat what you want as long as you stay with in the point for the day. You still need to aim for a certain number of fruits/veg, per day etc. But it makes it possible to have desert out once in a while and stay on track. Sooooo flexible.

I was at my Grandma's this weekend and had strawberry shortcake, and then my husband and I had Mexican food the next night. I'm still losing.

The plan works better if you exercise though. I'm doing aqua aerobics. I love it. You don't get all hot and sweaty, but it is a super work out. Very cardio and strength at the same time. Plus it is fun; it feels like doing "Simon Says" in the water so it feels like goofing off, not like a rat on a treadmill.

I've lost 19.2 in the last 8 weeks.
Good luck.

Eat when you are hungry, make healthy choices. Walk a few miles a day. Park your car further away from the mall and walk a bit extra. Drink water-cut out the soft drinks. Make sure to give yourself plenty of sleep and pampering-no matter what size you are, you deserve to take care of yourself! It is healthy to drop about ten pounds per month. If you need to lose more than that, you will just have to give it time.

Sorry, there is no magic bullet. If there was, I'd be a size 2.

Right off the bat, try to replace all liquids other than milk or juices like orange juice with water. Next get physically active: walking/running/jogging a couple miles can take little time and will help a bit, perhaps do even more by going to a gym: but don't decide to slack after a few days, REGULATE. If you want to have the appearance to look 'skinnier' wear some black clothing , don't over do it though to look like a goth (unless that is your thing I guess) but something cute that is black would do good.

exercise everyday exactly the same for the same amount of time and eat 5 SMALL meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Don't let yourself get hungry. Eat lot's of fruit and take in calcium(oranges). I would do jump and jacks and run hard in place for about 30 minutes. Just make yourself sweat and don't stop once you get tired. The key is to burn more calories than you take in.

Try substitution soda, sports drinks (which contain double the sugar of soda) and juice (which DO contain sugar and citrus acid which is also in gatoraid and soda) with water.

Water is the solution. Also, new research suggests that people who have sitting jobs (such as desk jobs) tend to be heavier than people who walk around a lot (such as stay at home moms who go everywhere).

Try walking around, or standing while you use the computer. It HAS SHOW WEIGHT LOSS. good luck

500 calories a day on the Elliptical trainer
and try to eat less than 1500.
That is a yogurt for b-fast, slim fast for lunch, some fruit in b/w. and a good healthy meal.

look at the nutritional content of everything you eat. Try to go fat- free as often as possible. and if you're a big snacker like me try cereal (Cheerios, Trix) these keep you munching for hours and you don't kill your calories, and try ice!
