As long as you don't give up it is possible. I taught my best Friend tennis over the summer and she made the high school tennis team. It just matters if you keep the ball in play, not how hard you can hit the ball. good luck!

Yes you can learn tennis! Just call up your local tennis club and tell them you are interested in the game. Let them know you are a beginner. Summer lessons are already starting. Most tennis clubs have daily and weekly lessons. Your local sporting store will have a good range of tennis rackets to choose from. I recommend a large heading one to begin with. But make sure its light weight so as not to tire your arm out to quickly. As for expense, it depends on how many lessons you wish to take per week. Generally, amateur entries are not too expensive. So go hit the courts and above all....HAVE FUN!!!

Group lessons are a good cheap way to start. In the summer most parks offer them. I know Atlanta has great tennis programs going on all year. Hang out at the public courts and ask the people there.

a cheaper way is to go to your nearest tennis court and practice on the giant wall they should have there. There is a line across the middle and start hitting the ball above that line to practice. once you start getting better play against someone.
