have you ever used drugs? Its not the drugs that are destroying society its the people who choose to be in that state of mind and make those decisions. Overall "drug" users are successful members of society hell they make more contributions to our economy than any normal citizen. Go smoke a joint and see if society as you know it crumbles.

I dont personally believe drugs are destroying society, more the people that use drugs are destroying society. And George Bush too, he is really helping along there.

We could by educating people, building their characters in ways that they do not drugs, tighten family ties, caring for eacu other. Oh, and showing no tolerance whatsoever to drug dealers. I'm not so much in favor of capital punishment but the chinese use it indescrimitely on drug deales and their drug rates are very low.

make them cheaper, as david lee roth said I used to have a drug problem, now I can afford them. It's the money or the lack of that causes crime. As for junkies, and I've had one for a wife, heroin if you must know, I could care less about overdose. p.s. that was her chosen form of death. She found out she had AIDS.

Make it legal. In europe it is legal and they do not have that problem. we should not make things forbidden, then it will not become big problem.
I never used drugs and think that it is the best way to have less people depend on it.

Unfortunately, drugs are not going away. It's kind of like when they tried to abolish alcohol, it didn't work; maybe we should legalize some of the "not so bad drugs", like marijuana.

I highly doubt you really want to fix the drug problem.
For example, are you trying to make alcohol illegal? No? I thought not.

Legalize them like tobacco and alcohol, along with restrictions on use (also like tobacco and alcohol), and tax them (also like tobacco and alcohol) to generate more funds for encouraging people to drop them, avoid them, or use them with moderation (also like tobacco and alcohol). This will immediately destroy funding for terrorists, organized crime, and local thugs, by eliminating a highly-lucrative "business."
