NASCAR! Tough cars, bang into a wall at 200 mph, go to the pits, change tires, bang out a few dents and the car's back on the track.
IRL: Bang a wall at almost any speed and the car falls apart like a two dollar suitcase and the day is over.
NASCAR: The engine design in use today is basically the same one they had 30 years ago. As is the suspension. Aero package has changed. Still, the same engine and they are running over 200 mph.
IRL: Go Karts on steroids.
