You're kidding?? A-Rod is a future Hall of Famer. Pierzinski is average at best. He is just having a good year.

I would definitely take A.J. without even thinking twice about it. Now you might think that my opinion is biased because I am a huge sox fan, but he is one of the toughest outs in major league baseball. Whenever the game is on the line he a lot of the time finds a way to get on base. For example, last week against the cubs hitting a three run homer with 2 outs in the 9th down by one. This is one of many examples of his importance on the world champion chicago white sox. Yeah he is the most hated player in the league, but I tell you this, he gives 110% everytime he steps foot on the field. Not to mention he handles that pitching staff very well. Now I am not taking anything away from A-Rod, but it seems like everytime Alex is putting up big numbers in a game the yankees are already up by about 10. Come playoff time is A-Rod going to keep putting up big numbers? As I remember last year against the angels he didn't do jat squat. So I would rather have a consistent player all year round including the playoffs rather then someone who hits three home runs in a game when your team least needs it.
