What?
At one time or over a period of years?

My mom was a one-time woman.
The only person she was ever with was my dad.
Years later, she told me that she wished she was a little more adventurous in her early years.

I've been with a few (okay, about a dozen) women in my lifetime.
Each relationship offered new highs and lows, ups and downs (no pun intended) and experiences.
The lessons learned include what I want and don't want in a lifelong partner, what I like and don't like and what I need/don't need in a relationship.

Are a lot of partners good for YOU?
I can't answer that.
About the only thing I can say is whatever you do, make sure you use protection.
You don't need to have an unexpected pregnancy or an STD messing up your life at this point.

Well its nice to have a long time partner, but it can get boring doing the same thing year after year, and with lots of partners, you certainly do become experienced, but i have to agree with the first person that answered its is better to only have one, as you dont want to be labeled something you arent.

I think that everyone goes through a promiscuous time in their early stages of having sex and that through either spiritual necessity or fear people chose to be with one partner. I think rather yet I know sex with one partner that genuinely loves and cares for you is more sacred than any random encounter you could have. I say quality over quantity any day. I would like to live out my life to the fullest without having to worry about taking daily supplements of antivirals and wasting away because it seemed like the thing to do at the time. This is the new millennium we aren't in the grassy knolls of Woodstock anymore and we shouldn't feel like love should be so free. I have found the weapon of mass destruction and it lies within ourselves and of carefree "it couldn't/won't happen to me" dispositions.

One is better... but it takes having a few before you can tell if the one you have is what you need.

I'm not just talking about sex either. Are they romantic? Are the they open minded to your beliefs? Will they support your causes and help you when the Stuff hits the Fan?

Don't settle for less than you desire!

My husband & I have been together since we were 18- We have only been with each other. I LOVE the fact that I don't have any baggage & neither does he. We know neither one has any sexually transmitted diseases, children popping up outta the wood works, etc... I love just having one partner forever !!!

One at a time.

One, of course. How could anyone justify having a multitude of sexual partners these days? Even if you don't care about the lack of morals that it requires, what about the risk of disease?

Hello from Australia,
One partner is safe!
Sexual intimacy with another person should come from an inner desire to share this special n private part of yourself with a person who will value that part of you which you are giving!!!!
Dont undervalue yourself n share your body indiscriminately with others!!!!
RESPECT YOURSELF ABOVE ALL ELSE IN LIFE!!!!

in my opinion, i think one is best. Save the sex for the one person you love, otherwise you may get the reputation of a whore, which you will never live down. Trust me!!
