I don't know if Barack will be President, but I admire him as a leader and as a great speaker. My hope is that he runs for VP in the next election. And not all good presidents and civil leaders get assassinated. Let's be optimistic!
Being a great speaker is an important quality regardless of what the above answerer states. And Sillyme, before correcting someone else's spelling, verify that you are correct first, it's Barack (not Barak). Some conservatives use this argument to smooth over the horrors of GWB's speeches because they can't think up another excuse. I can't even listen to his speeches anymore ...they make me cringe. Communication is one of the most important qualities you can have in a leader. It's a motivation tool. I like the people that I admire and the people I choose to lead to be able to answer questions in an intelligent and thoughtful manner. For those people to be able to give a great speech that moves me. The way you relate to the public and to others is an asset. How can you lead if you can't communicate what you want? It's extremely important. How many people automatically think of the "I Have A Dream" speech when Martin Luther King, Jr. is mentioned?

Since you qualify that only the good leaders or presidents are killed, you have nothing to worry about with Barak (by the way) or Hilladyke.
LOL. The mind of a liberal is trully a funny thing to witness. Listen to the prior posters about how enamoured they with his speaking abilities, how articulate he is, how charming. There just is no doubt about the fact that liberalism is just an infantile ideology. Everything is about window dressing, flash, bling, showmanship. No substance or principles.

Because of the ignorant people in this country he will have an uphill battle for president but he would become vice-president. He won't get assassinated because the secret service is too high tech for someone to try and assassinated him in the US.

Barack Obama sure has the biggest chance of becoming the next big civil leader and I hope to god this one doesnt get assassinated.....He certainly has become one of the most articulate democrats in the senate .. Everything he says makes sense...As you said though all of the good ones usually get assassinated...

He is very impressive. I don't know if he will be pres. but I expect great things from him. Let's not even talk about assassination. Please.
