You have a small copy that you detached from money order. You can call your bank (if you got it there) and they will trace it for you. Also you can make a stop payment on the moey order if you think you have been victim of a fraud. I had the same issue - I called my bank, they traced the money order and they blocked it from cashing it. They might charge you for that. It was ok for me as the money order was for $400 and it was totally worth it. Good luck!

The best you can do is track whether the money order reached it's destination, but not whether the recipient cashed it in. The money order is a form of cash in itself. It doesn't clear through your own bank, because you already paid for it. And if it was deposited in another bank, you are not entitled to the information due to privacy laws.

You can call the company and give them the number that is on the stub you are supposed to keep, the part you rip off at the perforation. But you may never find who cashed it, if it has been.
