Schultz never refered to her by name in the comic strip but the animated cartoons called her Heather.

I'm not sure which character you're talking about... there's the tomboy who always calles Charlie "Chuck," her name is Peppermint Patty. And then there's the little redhead girl who Charlie Brown has a crush on, as far as I know she was never named (always just referred to as "the little redhead girl").

She never had a name
She was always that little red headed girl and charlie never had the courage to say hello or when he tried it would mess up on him, If i remember right She was only in the made for TV animations not in the weekly cartoon.

She never had a name. She was modeled after a cute girl that Charles Shultz knew from school that he like Charlie could never get up enough nerve to talk to.
