I was eating when I suddenly felt sick so I threw up all the food I ate and then blood was coming out and it was alot, does anybody know what that means, I did call my doctor which Im waiting for a call back but Im worried that has never happened to me before ever I been pregnant before too and that never happened

This would be a good time to call 911 if this was a volume of blood more than a thimble.

Are you sure it was blood and not something you ate that was red? If it was really blood, call the doctor immediately and ask what's going on. Don't go to the ER right away though, really try and contact your doctor, he'll have a record of all your medical conditions and everything. ERs don't look into medical history, they just treat you for whatever the problem is and send you on your way. You could be allergic to the medicine they give you and no one would know.
In the meantime, just drink lots of water and avoid heavy foods. Chances are, you'll be fine, unless it happens multiple times. If you throw up blood again, call the ER and ask them to contact your doctor while you're on your way there.

Um I'm only 13, but I really think you should be contacting a doctor or a hospital. And if your husband is around tell him to take you to the hospital. You are pregneant and throwing up blood is not a good sign. Just stay calm and try to relax while you get some medical help.

I wouldnt wait for the doctor to call back I would be on my way to the hospital if I was you. It could be that you have just threw up too much. But it is better to be safe than sorry isnt it.

What to expect when expecting says call a doctor and if he doesnt call you back within a few minutes get call back and say you have gone to the ER! That is very serious.

Honey call 911! Whatever you have whether pulmonary of Gastro-intestinal that's not a good sign... It could be a perforated lung or stomach ulcer... so go get help, run to the clinic! Or call 911! They will coach you through it! Don't delay!

It's not normal. It sounds like a gastric bleed. Usually a tear or lesion in your stomach. Drink ice water to try to stop the bleeding in your stomach. And get to the ER. I would suggest calling an ambulance since you are that far along in your pregnancy.

call the emergency room if you don't get a call in just a few minutes... ask if you should come in. Throwing up blood is always serious, throwing up blood with baby involved could be life or death.

obviously something is wrong but don't get too scared just get yourself ready to leave for either the doctor or the emergency room.
there is always the possibility that it was something you ate that has taken on the color of blodd but really isn't
