My friends and family think I'm having a mid-life deal because I went to a Greenday concert and I do totally love this band! I have since I was in my 30's. Is that tooo weird? Should I get therapy? LOL

why should u care what people think? if its a good band its a good freakin band! the one thing i love about music is that it has no boundaries. Its color blind and ageless. Why do u think billie joe has the words "All Ages" tattooed on his arm? cuz green day as well as other awesome music, is for people of all ages. (at least, i hope thats the reason why he has that on his arm!) Rock on girl! Whoohoo!!

NO thats not wierd at all...most people your age would be considered the ones who liked them first!!! they have been around since the 80s and people who say they love green day so much probably dont know about like minority longview and basket case..just to name a few...know what I mean jelly bean?

yes lots and lots. You are definitely a "basket case" your family's opinions are "dookie" and i say "good riddance". As long as you have the time of your life. They should be happy that you are happy.As long as you aren't hurting anyone live and let live. Live well you can and have fun doing it. Otherwise what's the point.
