I have worked to create several equations. They relate to the measurement of empirical probability. With them, I feel that I can give accurate predictions for items in a series of events. The only thing is that I am an ametuer, so I need an experienced professional to check out my theory...Is there anyone out there who qualifies or at least knows where I can go to get some help w/ this? Pls. leave an aswer or send a message to my e-mail if you think that you can help me out.....

Forever Grateful,

bcam :-)

There are several existing methods I know of . There are Pearsons Sytem of curves,( Pearson
curves) which are generated by changing the parameters of some differential equations and Johnson Curves which use a completely different technique. If you do a net search on either of these two topics and you should be able to find plenty of information.

I could look at what you have, do you have this in a file, and if so what format. i.e. MS Word etc. My email address is don1n8@yahoo.com if you want to send it to me. I have a masters in statistics and did my master essay on emperical curve fitting so I'm pretty familiar with this stuff.

You will have to go to the academics at the math departments in over 1000 universities trying to find someone in applied math that would be willing to take on your equations and work to get a research grant to study this.
It might take years even if your equations are great.
What I can tell you from my own experience is that people have come up with formulas to find everything from stock prices to the price of corn. They came up with formulas that worked at that time but things mutated so much in a few years that these formulas were worthless.

You need to send your equations to the Smithsonian Institute of Math and Science in Washington, D.C. for copyrighting OF those equations. I WOULD THINK!
