What do they mean in the Savage Garden song 'I knew I loved you
Before I met you' How can you love someone before you even met them? are they just talking about love at first sight or what?

They're a Stupid Group who apparently are very shallow and can't go very deep. It probably means they thought she was hot so he figured he was in love with her.

They're talking about fate. Like they were meant to be together, even before they met. It means that they were destined to meet and fall in love. A bit like love at first sight, maybe, but stronger. I guess that makes sense.

My guess is that he knew that he would fall in love with someone like her. Just the idea of someone like her, and of her loving him, connected the two. She meet all of his expectations.
