the judge just awarded my wife custody of our daughters in family court after she pursued a order of protection. She lied and the judge did not allow my witness to the incident to testify. My wife has beat the children in the pass and also hit me but none of this was allowed in court. Now my children stand the chance of being abused until I can get a lawyer to represent me on this matter. My question is just because a woman calls the police and says she is in danger the court automatically believes this is the truth. My wife had no scars or bruises. She said I threaten her and her lover. Is there anybody who helps fathers. My wife is dangerous when she is angry. Nobody is listening.

Since you are already on the computer, look up attorneys in your area and start making calls. Unfortunately, most states are "mother" states and you would have to have rock solid proof of her indiscretions to fight her successfully.

Get a digital camera and when the kids are around, take pictures, but don't be too obvious about taking pictures of cuts and bruises. Make it fun, if possible. Call Family Services and leave anonymous tips regarding the things you believe are happening. Make sure you document every little insignificant thing that occurs during drop-off and pick-up of the kids. Most of all, don't bad mouth your wife when the children are around. No matter what type of person she is, she is still their mother and you need to be a positive role model especially when she isn't.

You also may want to look into counseling for yourself. It helps to deal with the stress if nothing else. Another thing to check into is parenting classes. Some courts are requiring all parents in a custody dispute to complete these classes. I'd do it ahead of time if I were you.

Good luck!

You need to get a lawyer. Things may have turned out differently if you had one when you went to court. This is too important to not have legal representation.

YOU NEED A ATTORNEY. there are two sides to every story, and we are only hearing one. the Court hears both and rules on best interest of the child. however, i know all to well how corrupt the system can be. try this site and good luck.
