depends on who you wrote it to. At my apartments they do it electronically, so in a matter of hours. IF you wrote it to a place of business......two to three days. It first has to go into their account at their bank....and then on to your bank. I FLOAT checks all the time. If im broke and need groceries.....Ill write a check 2 days before payday and IM cool.
