discrimination and malpractice suits are impossible to win, yet everyone is acting like it is so easy. To everyone out there, try to file a lawsuite and see where you get. I have tried for religious discrmination, second hand smoke in the work place etc... and the lawyers usually wont take the case unless a huge fee is paid, and even then they will not guarantee a win. The same can be said for all sort of civil rights cases, they are very hard to even get a judge to hear.

It is easy to file, it's just very difficult to win. You don't need an Attorney to file a suit, you can do it all by yourself.

On the other hand, maybe if you didn't try to file frivolous lawsuits you'd get better results. How exactly were you religiously discriminated? Were you prevented from getting a job? Buying a house? Getting a loan? Second hand smoke? if you don't like it in the workplace, get a job somewhere else. This is America, if you don't like the work place, work elsewhere. No where in the Constitution are you protected from being offended.

Many civil rights suits are won. You need to see an ethical lawyer wo wil not just take any case to rip you off but one who would assess your chances and advise you accordingly. For that, you should be willing to pay a consultation fee for a first meeting designed for that purpose rather than automatically ask to sue.
