Very ocassionally you see someone eating cereal - but it's ALWAYS cornflakes!

Also, whenever they watch TV it's always either The Weakest Link or a wildlife programme!

they all eat in the 'caff' despite having a perfectly good kitchen 10 yards away ... and go to the laundrette .. obviously no 'CURRYS' near by ... total lack of white goods .... and go to the pub every sodding day and night !!!.. and strangest of all ... no TV.. or INTERNET !!!!!!!

Because it takes far too long to add Jam or Marmalade to the toast!
Plus you gotta consider that the actor/actress may not even like or want Jam or Marmalade.
And another thing, they're on a tight fimling schedule so they haven't exactly got that extra time to add Jam or Marmalade to toast.

Coz they are just not posh enough for jam or marmalade, and they are not rich enough to own a washing machine, Why does everyone get their washing done at the launderette?

if buttered toast fell, it wouldn't make that much of a mess, but if marmaladed or jammed toast fell, it would make a mess, and they'd have to go to the launderette...
other than that, jam and marmalade from that one-stop shop is way too expensive...

i thought they all had ian Beale's fry ups + fish n chips 4 dinner, go out somewhere special like a couple of jars in the vic

i kno and u never really see them go and buy the stuff from a supermarket i mean the ALL use the same shop but u cnt buy all ur food from their.
also i think the r all alcholics i mean they go in the pub every day.

also....why can't anyone get a job outside of the square. if there no jobs goin they reside to the fact that their doomed and it "does their head in" .fortunately there seems to be enough employment in the 400mx400m square for everybody....lucky
