Boys hit another growth spurt at about 17 I think. Girls typically stop growing as soon as they hit puberty and begin their Menstrual cycles.
I stopped growing about 13 or 14. I'm only 5 ft right now and I'm 20. I get mistaken for being about 12 all the time, but I'm ok with that. When I get to be 40 and people think I'm 25, it'll be the greatest thing in the world.
By the way, 5'5"/5'6" is the average height for a woman in the U.S. I can't tell by your name if you're male or female, but average male height I think is 5'8" but 5'6" isn't bad either.

The answer you are looking for specifically depends on genetics. If you're mother is 5 feet 2 inches and your father is only 5 feet 4 inches, unless you have some really tall genes in your family, you're going to be short as well. But, if your are a male, you can continue to grow until you are 23 even. You may slowly increase in hieght and it is possible to gain four more inches on your height. Just wait until you are 18 or 19 and that is getting pretty close to the height that you are going to reach.

Growing 4 inches after age 15 is quite unlikely. The traditional time for growth to stop is perhaps 14-16 in girls and 16-20 in boys. In the decade following, interestingly, there's a tedency to grow another half-inch to inch -- at least this is what I get from looking over growth demographics charts from the CDC.
There are always exceptions, and some will be outliers, but I wouldn't expect much growth unless you have good reason to expect it (say, you're a male and your parents are tall).

Females tend to stop growing heightwise around the age of 15 while males continue to grow until about 17 or even older depending on their genes. This is height we are talking about.
Both males and females continue to grow in other ways after they reach their full height.

MOST girls are done by now-- although I grew another inch in college.
MOST shorter boys grow more after high school. When I went to my HS reunion, I can't tell you how many shorter guys were TALL.
The rest is really up to genetics. Look at your mom and dad and that's about where you will end up. There are always exceptions to this, but that's a good place to look.

It depends on whether you are a boy or a girl. Girls generally do not, but boys often grow until they are 20 years old. How tall are your parents? If you are a boy and your Dad is 5'10", you can expect to be about that height or taller.
