Well are you a lesbian? You are around her just as much as she is around you.
Does she make comments about how good other girls look and how she would like to be with them? If she does then she might be but, best friends are suppose to hang out together and do things together. Quit being so nervous and enjoy her friendship. So what even if she is gay as long as she don't make a move on you

Er, she's your BEST FRIEND. Presumably you're around each other all the time because you enjoy each other's company, and she wants to stay over because that's what best friends do.

what is her home life like? maybe she wants to spend nights at your house because she is abused or her parents are into drugs or alcohol and she doesn't fell safe at home but she feels safe with you. But if she is lesbian you should tell her you aren't interested but would like to remain friends( unless you are asking because you are interested? in wich case go for it)
