Is there any way to get the stuff out of blackheads other than squeezing? It is so unpleasant...

Don't squeeze it, you can actually do more harm than good.
Use a Biore to get the blackhead out, then a mild toner or witch hazel to tighten and cleanse the skin.
And if you must squeeze, do it a little further away from the actual "head" itself, and do not use anything sharp or pointy. And always disinfect the tool, etc with rubbing alcohol.
Tweezerman makes a great "comedo remover" if it cannot be removed with a Biore.
And do you know what makes the blackhead black? Its the air we breathe--once the sebum (the white stuff) hits air, it turns black from the dirt surrounding us.

I've found the biore strips and biore warming face wash useful in helping to remove them.
I once read that another way is after taking a hot shower to take a piece of tiolet paper or tissue and gently push under it and it will come out, though not 100% sure if that works never tried but I do know that the heat opens your pores.

They have an ingenious thing called, well honestly I can't remember what it is called, and I'm at work so I can't go look. But its like a little vacuum for your face and it is fantastic. It works really, really well. You wash your face with warm water to open up all the pores and then run that little thing all over your face and it sucks the gunk right out. I love it, it's fantastic. (you can get one at wal-mart. I spent like $20 or so for mine.)

Have you tried the nose strips? They work well. Also, I use Mary Kay Timewise 3-in-1 cleanser, and so do some of my friends. My one friend who uses it has had skin that has cleared up really well. It has exfoliators in it to help deep cleanse and clean out the pores.

rub them with lime juice.it might or might not come out. but sumtimes u do have to squeeze a little
