Eerie Gypsy like violinist... artists???

Question

I am in love with a certain type of violining... The easiest way to describe it is by example. If you have ever seen Queen of the Damned, the way Lestat played his violin or the Jane's Addiction song "of course" from Ritual de lo Habitual. Please let me know of a violinist or group that plays that way so I can purchase it....

Voltaire has a gypsy sounding violin to some of his music -- I would recommend, When You're Evil, Anastasia, The Headless Waltz

If you want just the violin - I would recommend checking out Romanian artists.
