Take some naproxum sodium (the drug in aleve)... or alternately Ibuprofen (but I don't think that works as well). You can also try to stretch out your arm and alternate icing and heating it. If it doesn't get better in over a week though, go see a doctor about it.

It sounds like a few muscles got overworked.

A little *gentle* exercise, massage, heat, and ice should help. Anyway, if your experience compares with mine in such things you should start feeling better by tomorrow. Don't try to hold that arm in one position: That will make it stiffen. If all else fails, see a doctor who deals in sports-related injuries. Good luck!

Lactic acid is the residue that forms in the muscles when active.. too much action will leave an over abundance of this substance in your muscles.. the most effective way to get rid of it is to get it moving again.. as much as possible.. the circulation increase will flush it out.

Icepack. Check Web MD. Sounds like you have a version of tennis elbow (can apply to any sport)

Rest and eat some protien. Muscles just overworked. Eat something high in protien to build them back.....meat, fish, beans are all good to rebuild it! Rest is important too! Try not to use the arm/overwork it!

Rotate ice and heat on it for today. Try not to overstress it and take some Advil or Tylenol.
Other than that, time is the best healer.

You can't belligirl..

It's because you over did it and with time your pains and soreness will go away.

Give it time...
