Congrats on giving up smoking! No, I don't think it changes your periods and even if it did, your body has had 18mths to get back to rights. I have been anything from a 30-a-day smoker to a 10-a-day smoker and it never affected my cycle or fertility. There has to be something else..possibly hormonal..upsetting your cycles. Next time you see your GP have a word about it..it could be something fairly simple. Good luck.

i dont think it does i had irregular periods before i started smoking and it hasnt gotten any better or worse now that i have been smoking for a few years. I don't think smoking would make a difference but people will tell you it does so that you will stop. Talk to the doc and see if you have something called PCOS. I had ovarian drilling done and it caused my periods to go regular and i havent had one on my own i a year. I would go talk to your OB and see what they say..Good luck

No. Smoking could decrease your chances of getting pregnant and i'm sure you already know how bad it is for you and your baby ( if pregnant ) but it cannot cause irregular periods.
Irregular periods could be caused by hormonal disbalance, thyroid problems, ovarian problems, etc and sometimes there's just no obvious reason. By all means, see ur doctor.
But dont freak out- irregular periods causes can be treated.

I don't know about that but if you're trying to conceive then you should give up smoking. It's not good for you or a baby.
