I have been debating if my husband and I should find out what we are having!
I want to find out because i would like the nursery and everything perfect a month before the baby comes!
He doesn't because he wants it to be a surprise! But you mother's out there probably know that after having kids, surprises are the last thing you need!
Any thoughts or experiences you would like to share?

It's a personal choice, I liked to know so as to prepare. And you could always find out, prepare, and not tell him, and kick him out of the nursery, get it ready yourself, with friends.

Congratulations, I think its better finding out before hand but then not telling anybody. so its still a surprise for your family but you ans your husband are prepared to bring home either a beautiful daughter in pink or a handsome son in blue. You wouldn't want them to be mistaken now do you.
Not every time the doctors are right. My children they have been but lets say my sister in law she was told she was having a boy until her beautiful daughter was born.
The baby is a surprise in itself the sex is just a minor detail. you still have the surprise of who's nose have they got and to see you and your husband as a whole person a individual with there own little things. If you want to have everything ready i think you should really make it clear that its going to make your life easier later if your not trying to set everything up in a pink or blue after the baby arrives, you will want to be spending all your time with your new baby.
I hope this has had a pointer or two. lol maybe not but anyway. Good luck and i hope your husband comes round. Good luck.

Here's a solution... between the 2 of you, decide on how to decorate the nursery, and in a style that will go with a boy or girl, then you find out, but don't tell your husband which it is.

when my wife and I had our child a few months back we really wanted to know. The reason we felt that way was then you can prepare the home for the baby, have a name picked out and you can buy clothes and stuff in the months before the baby is due to arrive.

Tell him that cloths, blankets a baby shower all are much more worth while if you know what you are having. Plus people are going to want to buy you things at your baby shower and it is really hard for them to get gifts for either gender. I just threw a baby shower for my friend who's girlfiend would not let him find out and it would have been so much more fun if we knew what she was having. I am going to find out ASAP it just makes more sense when you are trying to prepare

Tell him that the last thing that y'all need is to be painting a room, setting it up and doing all of the shopping for a new baby when it gets here. You will have a lot of other stuff to be worried about. Good luck.

that is a tough one. it will be a pleasant surprise if you wait until delivery and those are few and far between in life. but i had to know for the same reasons you want to know. i wanted to be prepared for my son, so i had to know his sex. i wanted to buy clothes and do his nursery and begin calling him by the name we chose while i was still pregnant. it is still special whichever way you choose. best of luck!

maybe try to accept his wishes. you may probably want to know but keep it from him if you can until the baby arrives. if he's open to have you convince him in wanting to know early, then knowing early is beneficial for others to know what to start buying for the baby. it helps you prepare sooner with your color schemes in the nursery as well.

i think that you should find out i have two baby boys and i found out with both of mine its good to know so that you can already have everything because when you do have the baby you will never have time to go shopping for all that stuff its good to be ahead of yourself

why not do your nursey in colors ot themes that are nutral so that you can still have everything ready for the baby and it can still be a surprise when it is born.
if you MUST know- why not ask your doctor but not tell your hubby- then you will know and he can still be surprised
