I've asked this question many times and in different ways. So far nobody has resonded other than to berate me for my question.

Obviously, this hits a nerve at the core of mans denial.

Denial(of reality) would require them to "belive" something other than the truth.

But thanks for paying attention i was wondering how long it would take for somebody to attempt that one.

Deception can take many forms ,I am assuming you are speaking of religious beliefs ? I only see people being deceived by a religion that was created to keep the masses in check.. Fear ,intimidation ,so called holy wars ,countless deaths all in the name of Christianity. Control is the issue ,how can we make the masses do as we( the church) want them to do . We shall create the fear and wrath of a jealous ,vengeful god to keep them in line. Yes....Denial of reality is the greatest deception

Satan deceive Eve my telling her that God told her a lie. Genesis 3: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Today we are still deceived by the deception people hear from ministers of righteousness. They say you can do good things and God will let them into God's heaven. 2 Corinthians 11: 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11: 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. Salvation is based on what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for all that would believe and trust in that. He died for our sins, He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. He did it all and all you can do is have faith in that. It is a gift of God. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
