here here.
what do people need a place where they can publicly humiliate themselves via spilling all their info for everyone to see? they'll find it rough when they still have it actively going when they're looking for a job in the real world because employers are getting smart and looking for your myspace now.
or do they consistantly need to comment each other saying "omgzzz ur nu layout is so hottt!! IM me sumtime ur really kute! <333".
and now little kids or superficial cheerleader-prototypes are all "omgggzzz im so lyke scene b/c i listen to Panic! At The Disco and all these other mainstream bands myspace has destroyed"
like seriously. I've never seen superficiality at its finest quite like the way myspace does it.

Chat rooms back when the internet was becoming popular had the same scare stories. Its just a vicious cycle that the internet plays a part in, although its truly not meant to be that way.

There is no way to prove how old you are for myspace, and if you are on there promoting violence, etc.. you deserve to get caught. Kids will always try to meet up with people on there, as they do on bulletin boards, chat rooms, and IMs.

If parents do not teach there children not to be so gullable, things like this would not happen as often.

Actually, this is where the parents come in. Watch what your kids are doing, I actually have a myspace account I have also met friends I had when I was in school so it is not so bad if it were not used by kids. I believe myspace is trying to get away from young people from using it, but that is what pays the bills Controversy.!!!

I know! It's sad that a website just intended for people to connect to their friends has become something dangerous where you have to watch your back for online predators all the damn time. Perverts stay off of Myspace!

I agree. Myspace is just a breeding ground of pervs. and future pervs. They need to have age verfication somehow.
