Yes, you may still be eligible to become a CPA, even if you have previously been convicted of a felony. Not all of the states are the same, but most will require you to attach a letter of explanation to your CPA exam application explaining the details and circumstances of your felony conviction. Then the state board of accountancy would make an individual decision in each case whether or not to allow you to sit for the CPA exam.

very hard but possible. if your arrest was due to a fraud case, then no way. find another avenue.
