I will get a round trip airfare, two nights at a hotel, $40 meal card, etc all for free.
But I'm not sure if this is something to believe and attend or not. Anybody with experience please share your thoughts! THanks!

It may very like be true, particularly if you have it in writing. However, you should also expect to have a sales person in your face the entire time you are there. They are paying for that stuff because they get a return on the expense by selling what ever it is they are selling.

Well if they promised it in writing, you'll be getting it.

Now for the catches:
- the stuff will be certificates /coupons and will come with plenty of strings attached
- the promotional presentation will most likely be a sales pitch for a very expensive purchase - real estate or a biz opportunity are typical users of this approach.
