Depends on your definition of World War?
In some respects we are already in one - as our "war president " so frequently says - instead of world war he calls it a GLOBAL War .[ By the way - he GAVE himself that name of " war president " .]
In such a scenario many countries would have to be involved- correct?
Yet to many extents that is just what we have, though it would seem that it is only america involved in attacking the sovereign state of Iraq ( and also Afghanistan ). Let us not forget that English troops from the United Kingdom , and Australian and Italian and Danish troops and many from other countries also invaded Iraq - and are responsible for all the eventualities and outcomes therein : the deaths , the tortures , the rapes , the murders , the massacres , Abu Ghraif, Guantanamo etc etc etc ..
It has also come to be known that many Countries that expressed their so called distaste at invading Iraq have none the less been complicit , overtly and covertly , in allowing their countries to be bases for american torture camps .. and allowing their sovereign air space to be violated ( but with that goerments knowledge ) by american planes taking men to be tortured or for rendition purposes. Germany and many other European countries as well as many Baltic States are cohorts in this american practice.
So as we can see from the above short overview ... mnay countries are involved in this current Global War that the President of the United States has declared . On the other hand , I believe that Congress itself has NOT declared such a war, and , the President has not declared it on any country .. but rather all countries that have muslim people living therein , so it would seem .
Apparently america has been at war since the time they invaded Afghanistan and then Iraq ( with Iran and North Korea viewed as suitable next targets by the this republican american , : with the aid and support ( of men /troops and money) from a variety of countries on our planet Earth.
That this is a war is evidenced by the amount of money spent thereon as well as the numerous casaulties incurred by the Iraqis ( both innocent or not ) and the murders , tortures , incarceration of thousands of Iraqis etc...
To keep this short ( though I could probably go on and on ) ..
we are to some extent have been in a Global ? World War for some years now .. with NO END IN SIGHT .. but rather the chances that it will go on and on and increase in intensity in the forseeable future .. especially if one takes into account the atrocities that the ameican marines are committing on the innocent civilians of Iraq as well as the cover up by the marines , the army and the american govt..

executing a three year old muslim girl by making her kneel than shooting her in the back of the head
executing pregnant women
killing men , women and children for fun
pulling a disabled man from his home , stuffing him in a hole and shooting him
killing a family , including a five year old child so the marines could rape a teenage muslim girl .. before shooting her in the head and killing her and then burning the place down
and on and on and on
yes .. we seem to be in war ... and the families of those that the american marines and their troops and the British and Australian troops and their Axis of allies are killing and torturing ... those families are probably goning to wnat to continue to fight the invaders of their land and killers and torturers of their people
It would seem that we are in a war of some sort even though the killing and tortures and rapes and atrocities may not be happening down the street from where one lives ... that does not make those evil acts any not the real less...
three and five year old girls and other children ( not to mention the great number of journalists that just happened to be killed by the american axis ) ARE being killed ...
torture is occurring
rape is happening
murder is happening
cover ups have been going on for a long long time
etc etc etce
of course none of this is happening to us ( as yet ? ) or in our homes or street or town ( as yet ? )

But by definition many countries are fighting a war in Iraq and Afghanistan right now ...
maybe Iran and North Korea will be next
can we get more Global or World wide when we have so many countries involved ? ..
for now the war would seem localised in a far off place .. but eventually it may come to the subways of London and madrid and who knows where else in the next 60 to 200 years ????
This in some context is a World War .......................................
as different than when america was doing the same thing to other countries by themselves eg., Panama , Grenada , El Salvador , Honduras , Guatemala etc etc etc
maybe if america attacks say Venezuela , by themselves , that should not be considered a World War .

Yes, because there is so much udder disagreement in this planet, nukes being built, and a boom in military. If there was to be a WW3, then our world will be undeveloped. We must find a way to prevent this.

No, possibly something will go down with Korea, but somehow we still have allies, I am not too concerned. There are much more bigger things to worry about.

probably not but it is possible. with everything going on in the middle east and this crap with north korea and their missile tests you just never know. lets hope not for all our sakes, because if it does happen someone will use nuclear weapons.
