My 1st was 4 months and it was front to back, and my 2nd was 5 months old front to back. Don't be in a hurry lol then comes sitting, standing, walking and running and your life is officially a game of chase for the next 2 years. Also remember each child has his own path for developmental goals and as long as they seem to be normal they are! Have fun with the little one.

my daughter was about 2 1/2 months when she first rolled over...she almost rolled off the bed! I was trying to change her diaper and she was crying and then all of a sudden i let go of her and she just started to roll...by the second roll her arm got stuck and she couldnt move anymore...now, she's the roll master!

aw sounds like he's doing tremendous!!! my son rolled from his abdomen to his lower back at the same time as he replaced into 2 months old. he's now 5 months old and merely discovered to roll from his lower back to his abdomen about per week in the past.

My daughter has been rolling herself from her back to her tummy since birth but at eight weeks old she hasnt manged to roll from her tummy to her back. Maybe this is because she is so comfy on her tummy she drifts off to sleep.
