Why are butt heads picked for management or supervisory jobs?

From my experience is that the upper management doesn't want anyone who knows more than they do climbing the corporate ladder because then the person who really knows it all will end up with their job. Upper management wants Dumb A$$e$ too because when something goes wrong they can blame the butt head that doesn't know anything.

I do think where the company's are going wrong is they are trying to become prestigious in hiring the college grads that have no back ground in what their company does instead of hiring inside the company of the many loyal employees that has stuck with them through thick and thin... what is up with that I have known people from a company who did not have the College education but was very experienced in the product and the production levels and had to train College grad new comers that didn't know their A$$ from a hole in the ground for the position. They end up making the big buck and they know nothing... While the one who trained them sets there scratching their head and wonder was that in my job description. I feel for this reason also a lot of companies are going belly up due to the idiots that they have running them.. you can buy all the book sense you want but you can't buy common sense...or years of experience while working in that company..

But I have to say too that alot of those people who are getting the permotions have alot of crap on thier nose or they are stuck so far up the bosses butt that all you see is thier feet sticking out...

But then again you can always screw the boss...

So beleive me I know exactly what you are talking about.

Give a man an inch and he thinks he's a ruler! So put a guy in a management or supervisory position and the next thing you know they think they are Gods.

Not true. THey are just regular people. When you get picked for one all the people who work for you will think you are a butthead too. It's the relationship not the people. You should become a manager and do a better job.

bcuz a*ssholes are easier to control. they know an a*sshole will make a good snitch and slave to the will of their bosses who will do whatever they say without question.
