if so what do you think to them? i know they are an old band (started early 70's) but they covered almost all music genre's going i reckon.
so whats yr view on them?and does anyone wanna link up and discuss them?

they were good, i still like most of their music. kevin cronin used to visit his brother in my hometown where his brother was a meteorologist for awhile and then became a school teacher. they're really very ordinary people.

I actually took a date to an REO concert in 80. What a waste of money the concert sucked. Try Deep Purple or Blue Oyster Cult they have a little more to their music. REO was ok, but it was easy to fall asleep to.

I liked REO back in the day-they were a very good band you are right all genre did like, "keep on loving you"...good song..and now I feel like and old man -thnks

REO was large in the 80's, and are now touring w/ Styx. The original lineup included a guitarist named Gary Richrath, who was one of the most unerrated but excellent axemen of the time. In my humble opinion, "Ridin' the Storm Out" is their opus...

They played alot when I was in college in Illinois in the eary 70's. Bloomington / Normal. They started up in the area singing in campus bars.

Yes they were a good ballad rock band. But they played lots of time "Can´t fight this feeling" on the radio, that makes me bored

Some of their songs are brill. When i was poor i brought my boyfriend a copy of thier cd, Hi infidlity. He said "who?" Keep on loving you and take it on the run are probably ones youd recognise if you would do any.

Man I remember thinking they were good. Haven't listened to them in years though. And I don't even think I'm all that old!

they were okay, never my favorite though, good stuff for lots of years. High Infidelity was a great album.
