I believe that it's cheating if you are giving something to someone else that rightfully belongs to your spouse. Giving someone else your time, attention or affection in even the most slightly romantic way is cheating your spouse from that attention and from getting the full benefit from your marriage and your vows.

i'm not sure I am married and talk to a friend that is a guy almost every night on the phone for several hours. Some would call that cheating but if you don't have close friends then there is no point to life. you have to decide for yourself where to draw the line then just don't cross it. it is a personal decision what is right for you.

It's not cheating until the other person finds out.

in my opinion if you love your spouse no matter what you wouldnt even chance putting your relationship in jepordy so i believe that if you even take just a little chance on doing something with another person that is cheating! you know better before you even put yourself in that position!!!!

If you do something that you won't tell your partner (gf, bf, spouse) about... then it is cheating. If you feel the need to lie you've cheated.

If you talk to the other person about your feelings. It seems to start with an emotional affair and leads to physical.

Seeing someone else surreptitiously (without your bf/gf knowing about it), any sexual or romantic physical contact, all that is off-limits.
