what is the best game to rent if you are looking for a game that you can adventure and fight things no zombie?

For some good action. Play the Prince of Persia games on PS2 or Xbox. Also God of War is a very sweet game. Both of them have combonations, story, and some good ol' fashion *** kicking.

If you want a never ending adventure, play an MMORPG, something like World of Warcraft.

For a storyline that ends, perhaps a Final Fantasy game. For people who aren't huge gamers who can't except that graphics aren't what makes a game, play FFX. If you like old games. FFVII. If you are old school. FFVI. Or else the Kingdom Hearts games. Just because it has Disney characters in it, doesn't completely make it a kids game. Try telling a 7 year old to beat it.

A good thing to do is check out a website like Gamespot.com and look in the genre's, they have good reviews, previews and such on their games, so you can get accurate responses on the games playing, and gives you a good perception on what looks good and what doesn't. Non Biased.

Too try out alot of games, try out websites like Gamerang.com (Gamefly is a good company, but their prices used to vary, especially the first month, they used to try to rip you off, maybe they got smarter)

umm, strange grammar. And I hope I'm answering your question by saying, try The legend of Zelda series videogames. They're swordfighting, but not gory, and just fun to play. There's pretty much one for every Nintendo system.
