There are TONS of reasons that headaches happen.
These could be from muscle spasms (really!), hormones, and a host of other really hard to diagnose sources. My wife has suffered from hormonal headaches since she was 20, and needs medication for those times.
Even though you think your diet and hydration are in control, you may actually have a food allergy.
The bottom line is that if you can't find any normal, easy to understand reasons, and these are happening a lot, then you need to see a Doctor.

Are you under any stress? Headaches can be triggered by stress. Also have you had an eye test recently? If you need glasses (or new glasses) you may be straining your eyes.
Could also be migraines related to hormones.
I'd suggest an eye test if you haven't had one in the last 2 years, or failing that go and see your doctor.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse. A headache is not an illnesses it is a symptom of an underlying one. You may need glasses, it may be your period, it may be hormonal, it may be that your bowels are not working as they should. it may be stress. E mail me and we can have a chat if you want help but give me your full e mail address for a reply.

98% of headaches are caused by stress; It doesn't have to be major stress either; The other 2% are generally down to lack of sleep or vision problems.

You could have migraine. Make an appointment with your GP to get this checked out. Migraine can be caused by stress or humidity or even certain food types. Check it out.
