I have read loads of questions and it never fails to amaze me how many people have obviously only read the title question and not the details of it.
Why bother if you can't even read it properly? And worse still, why do people put answers to say they don't understand the question!! If you don't understand, see what others put and you will understand more, or better yet, look it up first!!

Because the system is there purely to abuse. Sad lifeless people think that it is better to send someone down the wrong track than to actually bother taking the time to work out an answer that will help.

Because of an eagerness to get the 2 points and move on to the next question.
I have done it myself.
By reading the main line, you formulate an answer in your head immediately and start typing your answer without reading the sub description. The main line is the hook, and if someone answers just the main question, there is always a chance that the meaning is changed through the sub description.

Because this is a question and answers forum. The title question is the actual question being asked. It's like when people call a talk radio host. They are asked to get to the question, and if we want or need more information, they'll ask a question.
I say I don't understand the question in the hope that the person will re-post the question and make it understandable to us.

Your two little paragraphs are mere complaints. In answer to your first, and only actual question (though all of your "questions" are rhetorical), the reason for this behavior is that like you, most other questions are followed by ranting or just rationalization for an obscure or just plain ignorant question. Therefore after reading through several questions such as yours, peoples eyes tend to glaze over, and they snatch at the first thing that is not inane rambling. Much like the rambling after your initial question. I hope that clears it up for you. Have a conservative day.

Because people are people. Some are lazy and just want points in this silly game others want to have all the info possible to make a great entrance in the Q and A. We are a mix in here like everywhere, we are morons, we are intelligent well educated, we are kids, we are old folk, we are a mix of countries and habits. No one is perfect. So cool it.

Many times I'll pass if I'm not sure of the subject matter, if that makes me ignorant than so be it. Many questions are very specific about computer software issues and parts of automobiles etc., forgive me if I don't want to advise kids on their relationships. Give us some credit for passing on things we don't understand.
Do you read the ingredients of every package you pass in a grocery store isle?

That is a good question.I think they put" i don't understand"just so they can get some points.But i am not ignorant i just want some fun..i bet someone here might put "i dont understand the question just to make you mad"Understand this..there are some wierd people..ignorant and stupid in this world

I think you answered your own question...because they ARE ignorant. That's why they don't read anything but the title. I hate when people answer a question with "I don't know". They just want the points.

That is so irritating!! Sometimes I'll ask a question, and it will sound mean unless you read the details and they'll be like "you are such an a+s+s... I wrote something as a joke that said "Who thinks Beyonce is s0o0o0o ugly" and as the details I wrote, sike she is so beautiful I envy her. They were like "you're just jealous" and all that. READ THE DETAILS PEOPLE!!

Sometimes people don't put enough information in their questions. I would recommend... if you don't understand the question fully... don't answer... go to the next question... I think maybe their just trying to rack up points...
