I think you should see a fertility specialist. Ur doctor could refer u to a reproductive endocrinologist and i'm sure he will want ur partner to have his sperm analized first. If his semen analysis is fine, they will start running blood tests on you ( to check the levels of the different hormones ); they will give you a pelvic exam; you'll have a pap smear; and then probably a hysterosalpingogram ( this is a test to determine the size, shape and lining of ur uterus and whether ur tubes are opened.
Of course, additional tests may follow. I know it sounds scary but you've been trying for 7 years ( assuming you've been tracking your ovulation and timing intercourse) and i think its time for you to see a specialist. Even if you are in your twenties, its not recommended that u wait more than a year after u start trying for a baby.
Good luck !

I think you, if you haven't, should see a doctor for some real advice. Even just starting with you OBGYN can get you on the right track and many of the test may be covered, depending on where you are and what you insurance covers.
There are a gazillion 'thoughts' on what may or may not work, and for some it probably has helped but after 7 years, bring on the doctors and don't waste time.

Don't waste any more time. I'll repeat what others here have said. See a fertility specialist immediately.
However, don't assume that you must immediately try in-vitro. There are other less invasive, less physically stressful (and less expensive!) methods you might wish to investigate first, such as simply using a drug to make you ovulate, or if that doesn't work intra-uterine insemination.
Best of luck.

My wife and I had to go to the next level and do in-vitro.
Now the twins, a boy and girl are 21 months old.
Let's also say there were 'issues' on both sides with me and my wife. Hard work and years of investment.

My advice is to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist. There is a great magazine called "Conceive". It has tons of helpful hints.

Have you been with the same person for 7 yrs? If you have, he might not be able to get your pregnant.,,or you are rejecting his sperm...I have known people that were together for years and couldn't conceive ...But when they ended up with someone else...they both have children now.....
