Find a support group. Start small in your expectations, then work up from there. Challenge yourself a bit each day- you'll be suprised at what you can achieve! If going out is the problem, start with support groups online for people who have similar injuries. Be grateful each day for the wonderful person you are: you're a fighter and you'll soon be on your feet again. You go, girl!

I'm a bit shy too- painfully so at times. But like any other horse that's thrown you, the only way to show it who's boss is to get back up and ride it. Get back out there and Show'em! I'll be cheering from the sidelines. ;-)

Just be yourself. You will learn who your real friends are though all of this. People should like you for who you are, not what you look like. Keep your head up and love yourself!!!
