Ofcourse. I just moved here 3 months ago. It's perfect. Kinda like a city. There is many malls: International Mall, Citrus Park Mall (fave), Westshore Mall, and University Mall. There is Gameworks (arcade), a ton of cinemas, and on Dale Mabry there is evry store you can dream of. Think of it, and it's there. Check mapquest for more info. There is a couple of beaches, but you probably should go to the ones in St. Petersburg. It's 30 minutes away. Tampa has it's rich, and poor sides. South Tampa is kinda messy, dirty, crowded, poor, and kinda ghetto. North Tampa (where I live) is pretty, clean, LOT of babies (kinda sickening), pools, and restaurants. Well, I hope I helped you. I'm kinda new as well so these are things that are very popular in Tampa. In Ybor City it's more like a club. Ybor is like 15-20 minutes down from the north of Tampa. Ps Tampa is Big! Oh, and don't forget to check out WITHOUT WALLS INTERNATIONAL CHURCH. It rocks. They have a good teen church with dancing, acting, singing, band, and technical things you can do and apply yourself to. We have our own staff (i'm in it). It's soo much fun. We have a young pastor who talks about teen issues, and how God can help you. He's really down to earth, and funny. I'm telling you, you have to come. You're missing out on a good christian experience. It's not boring. Believe me I went to many, many churches before I found one that gets your attention as soon as you walk through the door. So, join us. Sundays at 11:00 am. Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Check out the website at www.nolimitsyouth.org, or google it.

It all depends on what you want. You want to go to a theme park, you have Busch Gardens. If you want to go to a water park, You have Adventure Island. If you like beaches, you can start at Clearwater beach and drive south on Gulf blvd all the way to St Pete beach. Plenty of hot spots there. If you want some night life without the beach, you can give Ybor City a whirl. It has a club or restaurant there for everyone.

Every where you look there is plenty to do.
