You are right. I have come across so many dangers, violence, crimes and more dangers in my life. Luckily, I have just "seen" it and not be a part of it...but for those, the victims, the world is cruel, unjust, unfair, horrid and full of hatred and people no longer search for answers or for that sparkling flame of hope in their lives. They have given up. We see some of those victims behind bars, or on the streets living out from trash and robberies...Some see no purpose and are looking for a "Fast" solution to be "Worthy" and accepted...so their answer is The Army. They join and start their "bootcamp" routines and then they are in the Navy, Army, Marines....Some good is brought up from inside of them, and they use it all while they aim their rifles to their other "Comrades" as they prepare for battle....until they realize they are staring straight ahead at their own face, their own blood, their brothers and perhaps their sister too....it is sad and the only unbreakable medicine for the heart, I have yet come to found to be the answer to emptiness and lack of acceptance is "LOVE".
Love...Love....Love....now what good comes out of war? I know some of us that decide to stay away and not be part of the world and its complex politics, are known as the "ignorant savages of the world" it sucks...but that is how this world has come to be....a battlefield: some can hide, some can be punished severely, and some might be put off to die, peacefully or painfully. I don't support war...and sometimes I realize it is necessary....but to whom? the government and its greed? or the presidents' full greed or miraculuous knowledge? who knows my friend....and with this I dismiss myself....thank you and God Bless.

I don't know about other churches, but mine (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) teaches that you have to follow the law of the land. I also think that when you shoot someone or whatever in battle that it's an act of war more than murder.
OK. 1st off, "Nirvana whenever you kill someone in battle it's an act of war vs. murder your and idiot" doesn't make any sense, so I guess that makes you the idiot. If you're going to make a point at least give enough effort to have some resemblance to a sentence. 2nd off, have you ever been to war? Probably not since you're asking such a ridiculous question. You have no right to sit on your fat butt and make such ludicrous accusations. The men and women defending our country are not murderers! Thanks to them, you're ABLE to speak your mind. 3rd off, it's obvious that your somehow trying to make some sort of stupid point and are TOTALLY biased. Why don't you ask someone who's been to war this question? Thanks for the points, jerk.

I'll do you one better. Why does the church claim to profess love, but they hate you if you don't have the same beliefs? It's called hypocrisy. The church has been practicing this for years.
It's interesting that you brought up the ten commandments. "Thou shalt not kill" in particular amuses me. What shall we not kill? Animals? Each other? Insects?
Crusades are also something that makes me roll my eyes. "Thou shalt not kill" unless we want to force you into Christianity. If you do not come peaceably, you DIE!

When one commits murder, 9 x's out of 10 it is premeditated.
When one is at war, ones attention is not necessarily to kill the person, perhaps just to harm them so they will not kill you. I know the military is trained to fight & protect for our nation but not neccessarily to kill someone. In my opinion, murdering someone & killing someone is two different situations. To murder is planned, to kill is protecting yourself. This question has given me a question to ask.

Why don't you riddle yourself. Why is it that you can freely sit there typing stupid question on a keyboard instead of being forced to work on a state owned farm for little or no pay to support a Communist government.

murder is personal and involves anger and rage. war time killings are not suppose to be about anger and rage. it's suppose to be about defending beliefs and protecting our families
