why are you going all stalker? why would you need to find out someone's DL number?

You can ask them. I don't know of a single state that will allow you to view someone, other than your own driver license. There is a national DMV that you could google. If you need it for a valid legal purpose, you can get a court order. Homeland Security is serious business, so if you are planning to do anything illegal with someone;s DL# you will probably get caught.

You can't. It's not supposed to be public information. A private investigator with connections at the DMV may be able to get it for you, or a police officer willing to risk his job.
