if your talk in about NUVA its harder to take out that put it......but honestly......you should put on a pair of gloves and which ever is easier for you lying down or squatting.....insert your finger in as deep as you can and try to hook your finger tip in the ring....then just pull it out......this part does suck but it worked for me....good luck
