Center Akeem Olajuwon
PowerFwd Wilt Chamberlain
Small Fwd Larry Bird
ShtgGuard Michael Jordan
PointGuard Magic Johnson

Akeem Olajuwon, was the most dominant center when he played eventhough he played in one of the worst markets in the NBA. He beat Ewing, he beat Shaq, he beat Barkley, Duncan, David Robinson, Karl Malone, etc, etc, he was the man. THe same for Wilt, many of the numbers he put up in the 60's and 70's still remain today. Truly the greatest ever! LB, Larry Legend is just that, dead-eye dick, mr.money-ball, the rifleman, this guy was great with the game on the line, awesome inside and out, and, at the line. MJ, Jordan, his airness, shall I continue. He and Wilt Chamberlain are always at the forefront of "the greatest" player topic. Magic Johnson was the best point guard, and, argubly, the greatest player ever to play the game. If nothing else he was certainly the most complete player on the floor whenever he played. He proved it by suiting up as a youngster, started at Center, for the ill Abdul Jabbar, handled the rock, hit the boards....the guy played all positions in the game en route to being the player of the game, and, leading his team to the title. I'd put this team up against any other 5. Yes, Bill Russell, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Oscar Robertson, and, Karl Malone, would be a formidable opponent, but, they wouldn't be able to handle us.
